if you’ve a hankering for something a bit on the exotic side, this week’s wear this there is just for you. we’re taking a trip to hong kong and visiting John Anthony, a restaurant designed by Shanghai and Hong Kong-based architecture and design studio Linehouse which is “British tea hall turned Chinese canteen”. a contemporary dim sum restaurant with some very colorful wes anderson-like vibes, the house of John Anthony pays tribute to a new-world culture that celebrates diversity, juxtaposition and a melting pot of influences and named after John Anthony, the first Chinese-born man to be naturalized as a British citizen, in 1805. we’re getting in the spirit and dressing pretty adventurously for this outing, pairing a pink patent leather trench with exotic faux leopard print blouse and clutch, some sassy cropped trousers and sexy ankle boots. if you’re looking for a good yarn while you wait at the bar for your date, we suggest the romantic classic the piano teacher, Janice Y.K.
